HOOVER, Ala. (WBMA) — A high-speed chase that started in Cullman County ended with a crash on Hwy 31 in Hoover Monday morning. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, they, along with the Cullman County Sheriff's Office, attempted to stop a stolen Toyota Scion XD on I-65. The driver of the stolen car led authorities through Cullman, Blount, and Jefferson Counties before exiting onto Hwy 31 in Hoover, where he crashed near Chic-fil-A. The driver of the car, 43-year-old Steven Garner and passenger 50-year-old Dana Morales, both of Jasper, were taken into custody.
